About
Some composers are so unique that not a single description fits what they’re brewing in their little bedroom studios. I’m afraid I’m not one of them. My music is best described as the sound of grinding strawberry flavored ice cubes while sniffing daisies.
Recently a friend told me he’d made out with someone while playing one of my songs, which I found quite disturbing. Thank God there are people who say that one of my songs reminds them of the time they were collectively abducted by aliens and had to eat their own livers. This is a really old song though and my newer songs sound more like Chopin on steroids, while he’s shaving his butt with a lady shave. In any case, feel free to find a suitable description in the comments below and I’ll add it to the list.
Kitchudio
I used to have a really nice studio in my old place in Holland with a soundproofed room for all my recordings. This was a great improvement, because previously my studio consisted of a crap keyboard, hooked up to a crap computer, while playing on crap guitar and recording my vocals with a crap microphone. I actually had to sleep underneath my keyboard, for lack of room. Still, my music was absolutely great… of course.
Anyway, then I moved in with my girlfriend in London, known for its lack of space. After first moving a fire extinguisher into the kitchen (my contribution to our joint cooking endeavors), I noticed the endless music production opportunities hidden in the kitchen. I moved in next to the fridge (always convenient if you need a beer to rekindle that good ol’ little bastard, called inspiration) and the Kitchudio was born.
